Marketing Idea: Story-Specific Gifts


I'm holding a huge contest (still a few days to enter) for my newsletter subscribers. One of the things I'm giving away is 50 copies of the CD "HOLD ON by Vineyard Worship."
 
Why would I include this in the giveaway to celebrate my debut novel?
 
Because my debut novel is book on in a series about US Air Force Pararescue Jumpers (PJs)...who are Special Operations skydiving paramedics trained in combat, search and rescue.
 
The cover of the CD (pictured above) features skydivers in mid-air formation.
 
This is one idea of creative ways to market yourself.
 
 
I'm including the CD which will appeal to readers since I'm also giving away flashdrives...which will likely appeal to writers.
 
I want the giveaway to be appealing to both.
