I met Debby at the Romance Writers of America conference one year, right before she was contracted with her first Love Inspired Suspense book. We were both unpublished and targeting Steeple Hill. It jazzes me to be able to hold her book in my hands, knowing we sat together just a few short years ago, dreaming of writing for Steeple Hill but not knowing whether our dreams would ever be realized. So you can imagine why I'm SO thrilled to be reading her published works by Steeple Hill. I hope you will pick up a copy wherever books are sold.
There are some other great books releasing this month too. I'm getting ready to read one by Shirlee McCoy called Valley of Shadows. If you've read her previous suspense books, set in Thailand, you'll remember a minor character, Hawke....well, this is Hawke's story and I've been waiting for it for awhile now. I remember us asking her on the Steeple Hill message boards after a previous book in this story if he'd ever get his story. He did! Can't wait to dig in.

Oh, I love Shirlee McCoy's writing. I just finished reading Hawke's story and I'll just say, Yowsah! You're gonna love him!
