Okay, Squirrel - ha, ha, ha. The joke's on me.

Last week, I outlined my Aug prompt entry then put it on the back burner like norm.

'Cept this time I got caught up in BIAWeekend and forgot the prompt entry until Friday. No prob though...

I got back to it on Sat am and got it down to 310 words but the word count is 300, right? So I let it sit until Sun am when I tweaked it down to 299. Perfect. I sent it out later feeling great that I'd remembered.

This morning when I checked your blog, the 500 word count popped out at me - what? And then I remembered - Lit Agent Rachelle Gardner runs her photo prompt contests at 300 words - not yours!

And that explains why I had so many ideas but couldn't see to fit them in as easy as normal months...

Okay, 500 words, 500 words, 500 words...

*blush* You know, Anita Mae, I saw that on the BIAWeekend thread, and it felt wrong, somehow, but I couldn't put my finger on it...

Cheryl, Mom says you must get out your handy-dandy Homonym book to make up your word lists!

Hey Hope - out of curiosity, did you manage to get yours in? Is that why you didn't notice my error? Hmmm???

Is that why you didn't get as much done on BIAWeekend as you'd hoped?

Hey? Hey?

:-)

I think I'd already sent mine in before the BIAWeekend. LOL. I didn't win, either. ;-)

Okay Hope, I believe you. Sure wish you were going to the Minn.
