At my first ACFW conference in 2002, I worked the registration table. It was THE best way to meet new people, put faces with names and help keep everyone organized.<BR/><BR/>Of course, it didn't hurt to have them recognize *me* either. :)<BR/><BR/>Cheryl, fabo post! You've packed some great information in there.<BR/><BR/>For me? I'd say going with an open mind and being receptive to the leads God brings your way is the best advice I've heard. You might want to pitch to one editor but find yourself pitching to another.
